OUR SWEDISH HERITAGE
Celebrating 127 years in 2020 – Organized in 1893 holding services by 1894. Founded by the families of local Swedish settlers Andrew Berggren, Anton Clark & John Christopher. The original name was New Gottland Swedish Evangelical Mission Church as the Covenant was then known as “mission friends”.

A church family where many descendants of the original founders still attend — plus new members come to fellowship and grow in the love of the living Lord. We enjoy a perfect blend of tradition and exciting new growth — we welcome you to join us!
OUR BELIEFS
These beliefs describe who we are as a church, reflecting the convictions of our forefathers, living in us and growing over the years. They communicate who God has called us to be and direct where we’re going.
IN OUR CLASSROOMS
Sunday school classes for all ages are held every Sunday morning from 9:45 – 10:45am.
OUR SERVICES
Sunday morning worship services are at 11am and include singing traditional hymns, prayer, fun children’s time and Bible based messages.

It is a well-known fact throughout the community that this church has excellent cooks who really enjoy using their talents at monthly dinners, potlucks, and events throughout the year.
